While the whole country is busy celebrating India’s 74th Republic Day on January 26, Hindustan Times School also celebrated the day in their own way. On this day, a quiz competition called ‘Class Act 2023’ was organized. Class Act Quiz was first started on Republic Day 2022 the previous year. The number of students participating in the service is much higher this year.
Interestingly, this quiz competition created a record in 2022. The competition recorded the highest participation for any ‘online school quiz’ on the service. 19,625 students participated. No one probably thought then that this record will be broken. This time 21,540 people participated in the initial phase.
In this online quiz, 40,486 students from Class I to Class XII registered their names for the preliminary phase. The competition runs on a platform called Kahoot. Everyone participates in this competition separately in their own time. The winners of this contest are selected in a fully automated manner. From among the first 120 finalists, those in classes 6 to 12 will be selected to compete in the grand finale. The grand finale will be held on February 5 between 10 am and 12 pm.
The preliminary phase consisted of 60 fun and brain-teasing questions, including 30 MCQs. All in all these questions made Republic Day morning very interesting for many students. But there were many questions. Some are very easy, some are quite difficult. And another is of moderate difficulty. But funny at the same time.
