According to the Hindu calendar, Phalgun month is the last month of the year. This month is considered to be the month of strength and youth. Even according to the weather, the atmosphere becomes pleasant in this month and new enthusiasm is seen everywhere. Falgun month is also considered very auspicious from religious point of view. It is the month of worship of Lord Shiva, Sri Krishna and Chandra Dev. Major festivals like Holi, Mahashivratri etc are celebrated in this month. Certain rules regarding Falgun month are given in religious texts, which should be followed.
In Sanatan Dharma some special rules are to be followed in this month. It is believed that following these rules awakens sleeping fortune. Apart from this, worshiping Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu and Chandradev in this month gives special results. This month is also special for having children. Worshiping Lord Krishna in the month of Falgun gives special results. You can worship any form of Him as per your wish. If you wish to have a child, worship Bala Krishna. For love and peace, worship Krishna the Muralidhar and for wisdom and dispassion, worship Krishna the Gita preacher. Use fragrant flowers in their puja and offer their abier throughout the month.
Worship Lord Shiva in the month of Falgun and offer him white sandalwood throughout the month to get rid of health related problems.
