Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Phalgun month will start at 8.15 am on February 13 and end at 7.40 am the next day on February 14. Considering Udaya Tithi, Janaki Jayanti will be celebrated on February 14.

Janaki Jayanti Fasting Method: Take bath in the morning and light the lamp in the house temple. Take a fast after lighting the lamp. Bathe the deities in the temple. If you have Ganga water at home, mix Ganga water with the water used for bathing the deities. Meditate on Lord Rama and Mother Sita. Break the fast by praying to Maa Sita in the evening. Offer food to Lord Rama and Mother Sita.
