Turkey Earthquake Update: 23 tons of relief materials have been sent to Turkey. Tents, blankets and sleeping bags were sent. The Turkish Embassy in Delhi tweeted again praising India for sending relief goods. Turkish Ambassador to India Firat Sunel tweeted a message thanking New Delhi in this regard. The tweet was made by the Turkish ambassador after another Indian plane arrived in Turkey with about 23 tonnes of cargo. Vast areas in Turkey and Syria were devastated by the terrible earthquake. Several countries of the world have extended their hands in terms of help. India is one of the donor countries. The 7th plane of the Indian Air Force carrying relief aid for earthquake victims in Turkey arrived in Turkey on Sunday. The last flight carried 23 tonnes of relief goods. Among them were 13 tons of medical equipment and other essential goods. Along with that, there were several things including tents, blankets, sleeping bags for the homeless in the earthquake.

After that, a tweet was made from the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi praising India. Turkish Ambassador Firat Sunel tweeted, ‘Thank you India for sending tents, blankets and sleeping bags. These materials will help the homeless.’ Earlier, after the terrible earthquake on February 6, it gave a message to stand by the Turkish government Government of India. New Delhi sent a 100-member rescue team for rescue work in the earthquake-hit areas. Along with that, relief materials were also sent. To stay with Turkey at that time Modi Govt Ambassador of Turkey Sunel tweeted in appreciation. He claimed that India’s help was a symbol of friendship. Also, the Turkish ambassador emphasized on strengthening New Delhi-Turkey relations.
