Terrible deep sea earthquake! Tsunami warning issued, alert issued in several countries

Caledonia: Strong earthquake in the Pacific Ocean. On this day, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake was felt in the Pacific Ocean. A tsunami warning has also been issued due to the strong earthquake. The warning has been issued for the British territories of New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred within 10 kilometers of the Earth’s surface. A few hours before this powerful earthquake, strong tremors were also felt in Guatemala, Central America, late on Wednesday night. The intensity of this tremor was 6.4 on the Richter scale. According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter was near Canilla and 158 miles underground.

Canilla is about 120 miles north of Guatemala City. But even though this earthquake was felt, there were no reports of damage. On February 6 of this year, a massive earthquake occurred in Turkey. The epicenter of the earthquake was the Gaziantep area in southern Turkey. Then a series of aftershocks rocked the area. More than 40 thousand people died in that earthquake. Many people were injured in that earthquake.
