Bande Bharat will be replaced by local trains, passenger comfort is changing in this city of the country

Mumbai’s local train is called Life Line. Railways will run Bande Bharat train on that Lyle line. 238 Bande Bharat trains are being built for this.

Every day lakhs of passengers travel in local trains of Mumbai. As a result of Mumbai locality, people from far away from the city can come back to the district for jobs or other work. Railways is going to run Bande Bharat train on that route to increase the travel comfort of those passengers. According to Mumbai Rail Development Corporation, those 238 rakes are being purchased under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project. The matter is also being discussed between the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Maharashtra. According to an official of the corporation, this train will be built under the Make in India initiative. If properly maintained, rakes will last for a long time. Two depots have also been fixed for maintenance.

Bande Bharat started in Mumbai local train line, people of Maharashtra will get AC local. Bande Bharat will run within 100 km from the city. The last AC train from Chennai’s Integral Coach Factory to Mumbai arrived on November 30 last year. Currently there are total 14 AC local trains in Mumbai. They are run by Central Railway and Western Railway. Western Railway runs 6 trains a day and Central Railway runs 5 trains. The rest of the trains are either under maintenance or have been laid off.

It may be noted that on December 30, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Bande Bharat Express in the state from Howrah to NJP virtually. According to railway sources, when traveling to Darjeeling or Dooars, now the first choice of tourists is Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express. There were 76 trips on this state-of-the-art train from February to April and every time all the tickets were sold out.

The interval is five months. On May 18, the second stop of Bharat Express rolled into Bengal. And first in Odisha. Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will run 6 days a week. The fastest train of the country will stop at 7 stations on the 120 km journey.
